Beginning Dance & Movement WorkshopJoin us for the inaugural season of the Dance & Movement Workshop! Learn the basic skills from a variety of dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, and more. Each day, students will work on basic positions, steps, and fun facts about their dance style. At the end of the workshop week, students will show off their new skills in a performance for friends and family! These week-long workshops offer students, between the ages of 4 and 14 years, a fun and educational experience in the arts. Meet the Instruments WorkshopIntroduce your child to the instrument families! Students will engage in a hands-on approach with different instrument groups. Students will work with the camp director and visiting musicians to find their favorite instrument through listening, touch, and age-appropriate hands-on playing! By the end of the workshop, students will be ready to begin or continue their music education in classes and private lessons. Students will learn individual and group monologues, choreography, and songs. This is a wonderful opportunity for budding Broadway stars to learn more singing, dancing and acting skills with their favorite musicals. At the end of the workshop, students will perform a showcase at the Improv Asylum for friends and families!
