Police have given us the ok and business is as usual”One customer, Huzaifa Chunara, from Manchetser, told the BBC that there was “no creaking” or indication the ceiling was going to fall before it dropped.He said his wife and friends were trapped underneath it for about 30 seconds. Another customer said diners were “panicked” and 15 to 20 people tried to hold the ceiling up to let people get out from underneath it. A group of six women were injured when a ceiling collapsed at an Indian restaurant.Firefighters were called to Sizzling Palate restaurant in Bolton, Grtr Mancs., at around 10.30pm on Saturday evening .The incident was also attended by Greater Manchester Police who stayed at the scene for around an hour before leaving.Five women suffered minor injuries, and another woman suffered a neck injury.
