Daniels suffered a concussion in last weekend’s loss to Utah.Despite having a week to recover, it looks like the road was just too long for Daniels. According to John Walters of Sports Illustrated, both J.T. Daniels and Wisconsin quarterback Alex Hornibrook will miss their games this weekend with concussions.Earlier this week, USC head coach Clay Helton revealed Daniels was “50-50” to play this weekend. Here’s the news from Walters. Both Alex Hornibrook (Wiscy) and J.T. Daniels (USC) are sitting out Saturday’s games with concussions.— Medium Happy (@jdubs88) October 26, 2018Daniels is the team’s leading passer with just over 1,600 passing yards and eight touchdowns passes on the year. His replacement, sophomore quarterback Matt Fink, has thrown just nine passes this season when Daniels missed time earlier in the year. It’s a tough blow for the Trojans who face Herm Edwards and the Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday afternoon. The game between USC and Arizona State is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff.last_img
